The first glimpses of Marta Giec’s feature-length debut introduce a folk horror story rooted in Kashubian beliefs, with the weight of family secrets lurking in the background.
WHAT IS THE FILM ABOUT?
On the eve of her 18th birthday, Trina (Wiktoria Kruszczyńska) plans to escape from her toxic mother (Gabriela Muskała). The unexpected arrival of her mysterious aunt Helena (Magdalena Boczarska) and her paralysed grandmother Regina (Iwona Bielska) sets off a chain of events in which everyday reality becomes increasingly intertwined with Kashubian beliefs and Trina’s nightmarish dreams.
