Jakub Szczęśniak

Bio

A versatile designer credited in dozens of projects as 2D and 3D Animator, 2D/3D Artist, Art Director, Director and Illustrator.

Jakub started his work in the field of animation in 2011. He collaborated with multiple international studios, such as the Canadian Polyester Studio, French Nöbl Studio or American Bent Image Lab, and participated in projects of Cartoon Network, Samsung, Converse, Vivid Sydney Festival and Nicolas Copernicus University in Toruń.

From pre-production to post-production, Jakub has worked on every aspect of animation process. He utilized 2D and 3D techniques and helped to create videos of different lenght and character: full-lenght animation, shorts, TV series and commercials. He designed characters for Basia animated series, was an artist and Technical Director for the popular kids show Mami Fatale, and the Art Director on the award winning short Lost Senses.
