Sound Engineer

We’re looking for someone to take ownership of sound production in our studio. We create radio and TV commercials, digital content, animation and films. Sound is an integral part of every stage of our production process – from recording and sound design to final mixing and broadcast-ready delivery.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

– Recording, editing and mixing audio, as well as preparing final audio deliverables for radio, television, online platforms and cinema

– Creating sound design for radio and TV commercials, animation and films

– Running recording sessions – from welcoming clients and directors to the studio to working with actors, voice-over artists and vocalists

– Delivering projects based on briefs and guidelines provided by clients, directors and creative teams

– Independently planning your workload, setting priorities and ensuring tasks are completed on time

– Supporting the estimation and pricing of sound production projects based on their scope and production requirements

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

– Experience in sound production for commercials, animation or film, backed by a portfolio

– Proficiency in Pro Tools on macOS and confidence working with audio plugins

– Knowledge of broadcast loudness standards and technical delivery specifications for broadcasters and online platforms

– The ability to lead recording sessions and work effectively with actors, voice-over artists and vocalists

– Confidence communicating with clients, directors and creative teams

– Openness to feedback and the ability to incorporate it into the creative process

– Creativity, a good ear and attention to detail

– Excellent organisational skills, punctuality and patience – even when deadlines are tight and projects are demanding

– Fluency in English

Nice to have

– Experience estimating and pricing sound production projects

– An interest in new tools, technologies and trends in audio production, along with a desire to keep developing your craft
