The BohaterON Campaign Has Taken Off
On the 75th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, the BohaterON campaign has taken off. Our artists had the honor and pleasure of participating on two different sides of the campaign.
BohaterON’s goal is to honor the participants of the Warsaw Uprising. The first part of the campaign will focus on encouraging the Poles to send messages and cards to the 1944 heroes. In this part, lies the importance of an honest message. The message to the Uprising participants can have a maximum of 25 words, exactly the amount that was allowed in correspondence sent through field mail, during the Warsaw Uprising.
This year the BohaterON campaign, has a second, brand new side to it – an award for people and institutions responsible for spreading knowledge about Polish history from the XX century. Both parts of the campaign will promote spots created by our artists.
– While working on the scripts I realized that these aren’t standard films. They are stories about people, feelings, and most importantly: about ourselves. – says Kamil Pohl from Platige Creative Arts, director and writer of the spots. – I’m happy that I was fortunate enough to meet the participants of the Uprising, talk to them, and understand their message.
Until the 2nd of October you can send a card or message to a participant of the Uprising, and for candidate nominations – the Rosa and Sensoria foundations – are waiting until the 31st of August. All details can be found on bohateron.pl.
