Platige Image, SPEGC, and Gran Canaria Film Commission Bring Gran Canaria’s Production Ecosystem to Warsaw
On June 11, Platige Image Group, together with SPEGC (Economic Promotion Society of Gran Canaria), Gran Canaria Film Commission, Chamber of Commerce of Gran Canaria and Platige Canaries, hosted a dedicated industry event in Warsaw focused on audiovisual production opportunities in Gran Canaria.
Held at the Metaverse venue in Warsaw, the event brought together producers, studio representatives, broadcasters, and audiovisual industry professionals interested in international collaboration, co-production opportunities, and the production ecosystem available on the island.
Throughout the day, participants explored the advantages of filming and producing in Gran Canaria, including the region’s competitive tax incentives, experienced local partners and growing network of production services. The programme featured presentations, Q&A sessions and networking opportunities designed to foster connections between Polish and Canarian industry professionals.
A key part of the event was the participation of leading production and service companies from Gran Canaria, including Accidental Films, Flip Flops Film, Jugoplastika, Macaronesia Films and Seven Islands Film. Their presentations offered practical insights into local production capabilities and collaboration models available to international partners.
The event reflects a shared commitment to strengthening ties between the Polish and Canarian audiovisual industries and creating new opportunities for international productions looking to benefit from Gran Canaria’s unique combination of locations, infrastructure, talent and financial incentives.
We would like to thank all speakers, partners and guests for their participation and engagement. We look forward to seeing the collaborations and projects that emerge from the connections established during the event.
