JUNIOR UNREAL ENGINE DEVELOPER

Platige Image is looking for a highly motivated Junior Unreal Engine Developer. As a part of the Unreal Engine team, you will be responsible for developing tools to further integrate Unreal into our production pipeline. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of real-time rendering technology, virtual production techniques, VR/AR, motion capture, and traditional film or animation workflows.

 DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES IN A NUTSHELL

– Develop high-quality, reliable tools and plugins for our Unreal Engine pipeline.

– Collaborate with other developers, digital artists, and production.

– Identify bottlenecks and bugs.

– Maintain code quality, documentation, automatization, and integration.

– Support existing Unreal Engine tools and plugins.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

– 1+ years of experience in Unreal Engine.

– Strong knowledge of C/C++ and Blueprint visual scripting.

– A solid understanding of visual effects and/or animation pipelines and workflows.

– Strong problem solving and debugging skills.

– A proactive attitude and great team spirit (essential).

ADDITIONALLY SCORED

– Knowledge of Python.

– Familiarity with other DCCs: Maya, Blender, Houdini, etc.

– Experience with source control (Perforce), code reviews and automated testing.

– Strong grasp of software development best practices such as TDD, continuous integration, and agile methodologies.
