Animation TD’s work with the Animation team in coordination with Pipeline and Rigging departments to create tools, techniques, and procedures to optimise character animation process. We are currently seeking technical directors for upcoming game cinematics projects at our Warsaw, Poland studio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for improving the efficiency of the Animation pipeline
- Design and manage tools that assist the Animators to work efficiently with Maya and in-house software
- Support the Animators in finding technical problems with models, rigs, tools and data flow
- Collaborate with TD’s from other departments to improve quality and workflow for character animation in AAA productions.

Animator (artist)

Platige Image  is looking to hire an Animator for full-feature film "Another Day of Life". Full-time job in Warsaw, (Poland) in film
studio from 1 April 2016.

“Another Day of Life” tells the story of Ryszard Kapuściński in Angola 1975. It is a hybrid format film. 60 minutes of advanced 3D, performance-capture-based animation (body and face) mixed with 15 minutes of documentary style, live action footage.  It is one of the largest and most advanced animation projects currently being produced in Europe. “Another Day of Life” is a coproduction between Poland, Germany, Belgium and Spain.  More about the project:  http://anotherdayoflifefilm.com/

Role: 
Responsible for realistic, non-stylized, post-mocap character animation in Another Day of Life team. Animation tasks applies to both body and face. When needed, provide feedback to the junior animation team members to ensure their work is in line with the director’s vision.

Required:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in character animation using Maya
- Solid knowledge of realistic (non-stylized) animation techniques. 
- Ability to take direction from multiple sources.
- Motion capture based face and body animation experience proved in demoreel. 
- Working knowledge of Maya is a must. 
- A thorough understanding of all aspects of 3D animation pipeline including rigging, motion capture and previs work.

Plus: 
- Experience with face animation using Faceware or smilar software. 
- Strong fine arts foundation skills, such as storyboarding, figure drawing or 2D animation.

We are currently seeking Character Modeller for full time job for upcoming projects at our Warsaw,(Poland) studio.

Role: 
Your unique skills as artist allow you to be a combination of visionary character designer and modeller. You’ll collaborate closely with the Art Directors and Supervisors to define the vision for both the characters and organic modeling. Communicating with other departments in order to ensure that the model meets relevant requirements.

Required Skills
- minimum 3-year experience in game development/VFX/cinematics pipeline as character artist or character modeller
- an extensive knowledge of Zbrush
- a working knowledge of Maya
- very strong polygonal subdivision modeling skills and uv mapping

We are currently seeking Character Rigger for full time job for upcoming projects at our Warsaw, (Poland) studio.

ROLE:

- Rig 3D assets (characters, props, sets, etc.) to achieve realistic or stylized effect (depending on a project)
- Use skinning and other deformers to achieve intended effect
- Collaborate closely with all rig-pipeline: design, modelling and shading
- Meet production deadlines
